Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Alvaro graduated from Christopher Newport University with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Leadership. His interest in construction began early through hands‑on experience with residential projects, eventually expanding into commercial real estate and development.
Before joining W. M. Jordan Company, Alvaro gained industry exposure through Colliers and strengthened his business foundation during an accounting internship with Hooray Agency. He has since served in several roles across W. M. Jordan, including time in the field at Atlantic Surf Park and on the development and asset management team. These experiences deepened his passion for construction and reinforced his belief in the industry’s ability to positively shape and transform communities.
As a Development Associate, Alvaro is excited to continue growing his expertise and contributing to impactful projects across the region.
Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, fishing, sports, playing guitar, and spending time with friends and family.
