Many of W. M. Jordan’s construction projects include the use of our Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team. Whether they have been mapping layouts for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing for the job or scanning the pre-existing conditions during a renovation, our VDC team provides support before, during and after construction.
What many people may not know is VDC is not limited to construction projects. Many clients use the WMJ VDC team’s skills and technology to accomplish a wide range of goals.
“A lot of times, we are being asked to collect data that doesn’t exist,” said W. M. Jordan Director of VDC, Dwayne Sellars. “It is hard to know where to start a project if you do not have existing data about where you are working. Many clients utilize our technology to scan pre-existing conditions and turn that into a model where they can see everything clearly. This saves them a lot of time and money while giving them accurate information they can use.”
