Interns of the Week

PROJECT TAGS:

It is time to meet a few more of the interns from our 2018 class. This week, we are featuring Charles Minnigerode hailing from #VMI and Peter Eich, Hank Jacobs and Rob Little all from #ECU.

Charles Minnigerode is a second-year intern working on the TowneBank Office Building Project. He enforces safety standards and fills out daily reports on site. This internship is allowing him to learn more about how construction management works day to day in the field. He hopes to one day become a Project Engineer. When he is not on the clock, Charles enjoys fishing and golfing!

Hank Jacobs, a first-year intern, is assisting with field activities at the Roland-Grise Middle School renovation project. He hopes that this experience will give him the education he needs to help him determine what type of career interests him in the construction industry. Outside of W. M. Jordan, Hank enjoys hunting, fishing and boating.

Peter Eich is a second-year intern working on the Christopher Newport University Library Renovation project. This project is nearing completion, so Peter is assisting the field superintendents with punch list management. He has recently been assisting with ceiling inspections. He hopes his internship will continue to give him in depth knowledge of the construction industry. When he isn’t working, Peter enjoys kayaking and fishing.

Rob Little is another first-year intern and he is working on the Town Creek Elementary site. Since this project broke ground last week Rob has had the opportunity to assist the team during the preconstruction phase. Now that we are on site he will help the field staff during construction. When Rob isn’t working, he enjoys wood working, hunting and spending time with his family.

With various experiences and levels of knowledge, W. M. Jordan is so lucky to work with such amazing individuals building the future of our industry. Stay tuned to learn more about our interns throughout the summer!
