My story: I grew up in South Hill, Virginia and got my degree in Business Administration from East Carolina University.   I started out in marketing for a forklift company in Greensboro, North Carolina. Eventually, I met my husband and his work took us to West Virginia, where I landed in construction. I learned a lot and fell in love with this industry. We made our way back to Virginia and the rest is history.

Why I like working at W.M. Jordan Company: W. M. Jordan takes such great care of their employees. I am a working mother and I never feel like I have to choose between my family and my career. The relationships you form with coworkers here are really something special. I consider them my family. Our teams are families and everyone supports one another at work and at life in general.

My hidden talent: Most people don’t know that I like to refinish antique furniture. I really enjoy turning something old and unique into something new.

My favorite things: Spending time with my family, going to the beach and going to concerts.
