OVERVIEW

Ferguson Enterprises is the nation’s largest supplier of commercial and residential plumbing supplies. The $13 billion company has 1,400 locations and 22,000 associates. The newest addition to their 43-acre campus, the Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery, showcases the company’s products both inside and out.

The building presents a dramatic contemporary image that complements the existing traditional campus architecture. The exterior trellis, highly visible from the street, features grilles, fire pits, overhead gas heaters and lighting products with an outdoor kitchen for cooking demonstrations.

The interior of the showroom welcomes customers with the latest in digital display screens, product technology, lighting labs and state of the art controls. Polished concrete floors and exposed construction provide an exciting contrast to high-end kitchen cabinet and bathroom displays. Products are displayed along glass exterior walls and interior partitions, creating a vibrant shopping experience.

This “Showroom of the Future” is the new prototype for Ferguson’s product showrooms. The project was awarded a 2016 Award of Merit for Best Commercial/Retail Project by the Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate, HRACRE. The Associated Builders and Contractors of Virginia (ABC VA) awarded the project an Honor Award of Excellence in the Commercial ($5-$20 million) category at their annual Excellence in Construction awards.
