W. M. Jordan Company provided construction management at risk services to construct the Hampden-Sydney College Brown Student Center. The project is located on the site of the previously existing Eggleston Hall.
This project includes both interior and exterior social/meeting areas, administration and office space, and the Honor Court Room. An outdoor living room, located on the north entry of the Student Center, is tiered to allow for outdoor games, seat walls, and an open fire pit for evening enjoyment. The north building entrance opens to a full-service food bar.
The Brown Student Center houses the Ferguson Career Center, the Flemming Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and the Tiger Inn Café.
This building has 100% standby power and is designed to operate 24/7 during emergency events.
