OVERVIEW

W. M. Jordan provided construction management services for the Hotel Madison and Shenandoah Valley Conference Center, a public/private partnership between JMU, the City of Harrisonburg and dpM Partners. The building’s architecture was inspired by downtown Harrisonburg and JMU. The interior displays subtle sophistication and rustic elegance.

Hotel Madison, the premier downtown Harrisonburg hotel, is located at the gateway to JMU’s campus. The 230-key full-service hotel and conference center sports the latest amenities, including a banquet kitchen, restaurant, and bar. The hotel features spacious guest rooms, boardrooms, and ballrooms. The conference center boasts over 21,000 square feet of meeting space, nearly three times the size of any private event space in the central Shenandoah Valley.

With over 200,000 square feet of living and meeting space, the Hotel Madison hosts several classes for the JMU Hart School of Hospitality, where students receive on-site academic instruction and mentoring.
