OVERVIEW

Local Columbia Senate is a new mixed‑use multifamily community taking shape in the heart of Columbia’s Historic District. Designed to bring modern living, convenience, and neighborhood activation together, this seven‑story, 297,066‑square‑foot development will serve as a vibrant addition to the city’s growing urban fabric.

W. M. Jordan Company is providing Construction Management at Risk services for this thoughtfully planned community, which features 221 residential units offering a total of 512 beds. The building’s design emphasizes comfort and connection, giving residents access to contemporary living spaces and shared amenities that support a balanced lifestyle.

A standout feature of the project is its elevated terrace pool, offering residents a private outdoor retreat with views across the district. The development also incorporates a 73,249‑square‑foot cast‑in‑place structured parking deck, ensuring convenient access for residents and visitors.

At street level, Local Columbia Senate introduces new retail opportunities to the area, including a Five Guys Burgers and Fries, enhancing walkability and creating an active, welcoming environment for the surrounding community.

Through its partnership with Subtext, W. M. Jordan Company is delivering a mixed‑use multifamily community that blends residential living, amenities, and retail activation — strengthening the Historic Columbia District and supporting its continued growth.
