OVERVIEW

W. M. Jordan provided Preconstruction and General Contracting Services for Grande Dunes Senior Living Phases I & II located in Myrtle Beach, SC. Phase I includes a three-story, wood framed Assisted Living Building, consisting of 80 units, as well as a one-story, 18-unit Memory Care Building. Phase II includes a four-story, wood framed Independent Living building, with 145 units, and six Independent Senior Living Duplex Cottages.

The design for Grande Dunes is based on a southern coastal style that offers residents covered porches, outdoor spaces, living and dining rooms and activity and meeting spaces.

Portside at Grande Dunes includes a specially designed neighborhood to serve the special needs of individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and other forms of memory loss.

Portside at Grande Dunes offers residents an active, engaging lifestyle that promotes wellness and independence. The project features coveted amenities such as a fitness center, a spa, a massage room, two salons, an activity room and kitchen, a lounge and bar, and an outdoor courtyard with a grilling area and bar.

This project received an Engineering News Record Southeast Region Award of Merit in the Multi-Family ($25-50 MM) Category.
