W. M. Jordan Company recently completed construction of the VDOT Hampton Roads District Annex, a major consolidation effort bringing multiple operational groups together on a single, efficiently designed campus. Situated on a 22‑acre site within the Northgate area, the new complex is now the largest facility project of its kind in the state for VDOT.
The Annex features multiple pre‑engineered metal buildings totaling approximately 86,806 square feet, purpose‑built to support a wide range of district operations. The facility includes dedicated space for administration, vehicle maintenance, materials testing, warehouse storage, highway asset management, equipment storage, and on‑site fueling. Large parking areas accommodate VDOT’s fleet of vehicles and equipment, while photovoltaic canopies contribute to long‑term energy efficiency and sustainable operations.
Designed to streamline workflows and improve service delivery across the Hampton Roads District, the new Annex reflects VDOT’s commitment to modernization and operational excellence. W. M. Jordan Company is proud to have partnered on this transformative project, delivering a facility that strengthens infrastructure support for communities throughout the region.
With our clients, partners, and community, W. M. Jordan strives for the relentless pursuit of excellence.
