Andy joined W. M. Jordan in 2020 as part of a strategic effort and expansion plan for the Carolinas. Andy is part of the leadership team in the W. M. Jordan Greenville, South Carolina office, and works to assist clients with preconstruction and construction Services. Andy has lived in the Greenville area his entire life and has been working in the construction industry for over 25 years.

In 1995, Andy began his construction career going to work for his family construction business. Starting in the field, Andy began working on projects as a Superintendent for ten years. He experienced working in diverse market segments, such as senior living, industrial and municipal work. In 2005, Andy transitioned to Senior Project Manager and business development, continuing to work in municipal markets as well as K-12 and medical markets. In 2008, Andy purchased the majority shares of his family company and began to focus the company’s growth to projects with alternate delivery methods, including CM-at Risk and Design Build. Over the next ten years, Andy led the company from revenues of $20 million per year to over $100 million per year and worked on high profile projects such as Clemson Indoor Football Practice Facility and Clemson University Football Operations Facility. In 2020, Sherman Construction and W. M. Jordan merged resources to establish WMJ’s fifth office location in Greenville, South Carolina. Andy works closely with the Wilmington team to assist clients in the Carolinas.

Andy received an associate’s degree while attending night classes from Greenville Technical College while working as a superintendent.  He furthered his career development by completing AGC Project Supervision Certification and AGC Company Leadership Forum. Andy has been part of Sandler Sales Training for 6 years and spends some of his time assisting and coaching others in best sales practices. Andy carries a General Contracting license in 4 states, including South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.

Andy has been married to his wife Heather for over 20 years and has 2 daughters, Madison and Campbell. He enjoys time with his family at the lake and Clemson Football.
