John’s comprehensive skills developed over three decades of building, and he is currently the Senior VP of Operations for W. M. Jordan Company, overseeing operations for all regions of the company. Since joining W. M. Jordan Company as a project manager in 2000, John has managed construction of many prominent projects including the Hampton Roads Convention Center, Riverside Regional Medical Center’s Patient Pavilion, and Virginia Tech’s Indoor Athletic Training Facility, to name a few. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech and professional certifications in sustainable design and construction, project management, and healthcare construction. John completed the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business Advanced Management Program. He is a member of the Hampton Roads CIVIC Leadership Institute.
John lends his time and talent to the community through his work on the Advisory Board for the Myers-Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech, on the Executive Board and Finance Committee for the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, as well as on the Executive Board for the CIVIC Leadership Institute.
