Like many of our employees, Mike is a product of our internship program. Mike joined W.M. Jordan Company in 2004 as a project engineer and since then has taken on increasing levels of responsibility and new leadership roles within W.M. Jordan. Mike has managed over 30 projects representing over $550 million in contracts with a focus on federal and hospitality industries.
Mike’s team approach to project planning has led to many successful projects such as Norfolk Hilton The Main, Virginia Beach Oceanfront Marriott and River Tower at Harbors Edge. As Project Executive, Mike supports, guides and mentors the Project Team to ensure project coordination and quality control. Mike focuses on the client, ensuring their satisfaction as well as developing and maintaining strong relationships with our Trade Partners. He concentrates on the big picture, allocating resources as required to be sure the Team maintains the approved project budget and schedule throughout the project.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from The College of William and Mary. Mike is a true proponent of life-long learning and continues to develop himself personally and professionally. Mike is a Civic Leadership Institute Alumni, Class of 2023, past president of the Peninsula chapter of the Virginia AGC and past board member of the Virginia AGC. Mike currently is a board member of the Poquoson Education Foundation and is on the Poquoson School Board.
