Adjacent to the Jefferson Lab and minutes from NASA’s Langley Research Center, the Tech Center at Oyster Point provides the city of Newport News with a world-class, 100-acre corporate research park and supporting amenities. Tech Center features 1.3 million square feet of research and office space, 300,000 square feet of multifamily residential space and apartments, fitness facilities, and 250,000 square feet of retail outlets. The retail component, Marketplace at Tech Center, is now complete. Prominent retailers and a variety of restaurants and services help attract people to the research park. Tech Center offers easy access to walking and biking trails, allowing entrepreneurs to work and thrive in the buzz of collaboration.

The Associated Builders and Contractors Virginia Chapter (VA ABC) awarded this project an Honor Award of Excellence in the Commercial ($20 million & over) category at their annual Excellence in Construction awards.
