Marketplace at Tech Center

Marketplace at Tech Center was a partnership between W. M. Jordan Real Estate Development and SJC Ventures, an Atlanta-based developer of premier institutional quality mixed-use, grocery-anchored and multifamily assets. Marketplace is the retail portion of the overall Tech Center development. The property includes 250,000 SF of Retail and Dining, anchored by Whole Foods. Completed in 2015, Marketplace features prominent retailers and a variety of restaurants and services to help attract people to the research park. Marketplace at Tech Center was sold to Inland Group in December 2015.

W. M. Jordan Company provided Construction Management at Risk services for the building shells and the majority of tenant buildouts. The Associated Builders and Contractors Virginia Chapter (VA ABC) awarded this project an Honor Award of Excellence in the Commercial ($20 million & over) category at their annual Excellence in Construction awards.
