Yesterday, John Nichols, Director of Safety for W. M. Jordan Company, presented 'Partners in Safety' to many of our trade partners. This session outlined the steps that W. M. Jordan is taking to improve our culture of safety and offered an overview of the
Associated General Contractors of Virginia BEST and
Associated Builders and Contractors of Virginia's Built safety programs. Both programs emphasize personal responsibility, mentorship and voluntary compliance. John stressed the importance of working as a team to improve safety outcomes in our industry.
Trade partners are invited to send their safety managers to our next 'Partners in Safety' information mentor meetings on January 16th at our office in Newport News, VA, or January 23rd at our office in Richmond, VA, at 10:00 am.
