« Back to Leadership Ken focuses on attracting and retaining talented people so that every project has the right mix of dedicated, qualified team members. In 1996, he developed our
Intern Program. This unique program attracts the brightest, most innovative young people from top schools in our region and develops them into leaders and construction professionals. Ken began his career with W. M. Jordan Company in 1993 as director of quality management, responsible for maintaining quality standards throughout the company, heading corporate development and training programs, and managing the Richmond division. Ken has extensive expertise in company organization and structure, quality improvement and management, employee training, and overall business management. He oversees our
learning & development and
human resources efforts. Prior to joining W. M. Jordan Company, he served at Norrell Corporation for over a decade in several capacities including vice president, division manager, regional manager and director of sales and marketing. Ken is an active member of the
Associated General Contractors of Virginia, and served as state chairman in 2006. He is an industry board member of the
Myers-Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech, a member of the
New Horizons Educational Foundation board, and a member of the
Greater Peninsula Workforce Development board.
