Jordan Company is proud to announce that Senior Business Development Manager John Cheshire has been selected to serve as the 2026–2028 Co‑Chair of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Triangle Coastal Committee. This appointment reflects John’s deep commitment to strengthening North Carolina’s coastal communities and advancing thoughtful, resilient development across the region.

The ULI Triangle Coastal Committee plays a vital role in shaping conversations around growth, sustainability, and long‑term planning in Wilmington and coastal North Carolina. As Co‑Chair, John will help guide the committee’s strategic direction and support ULI’s mission of fostering cross‑sector collaboration and elevating best practices in responsible land use.

In this leadership role, John will:

  • Provide strategic guidance for ULI Triangle’s engagement in coastal markets
  • Organize and lead committee meetings, programming, and educational events
  • Serve as a key liaison between local members, regional partners, and ULI Triangle leadership
  • Identify emerging trends and challenges unique to coastal development
  • Promote thought leadership in resilient, sustainable, and community‑focused development

John’s experience building relationships across the public and private sectors—combined with his insight into the opportunities and challenges facing coastal communities—positions him well to help advance meaningful dialogue and collaboration throughout the region.
