Today’s #WICWeek spotlight visits our office in Greenville, South Carolina, where our team has expanded to include Marketing Coordinator Morgan Holcomb.

A native of upstate South Carolina, Morgan attended Anderson University where she graduated with a degree in Graphic Design.  Morgan started her career working in the manufacturing industry before changing roles and joining a local economic development initiative. This is where Morgan got her first exposure to construction!

Eventually Morgan wanted to try something new, and with her connections to local developers as well as her knowledge of the area, she was a perfect fit to help launch our brand-new Greenville Office.

“I really like solving problems visually. I was looking for a new opportunity where I could use my skills and W. M. Jordan seemed like the perfect fit,” said Morgan. “I like bringing a vision to reality. There are a lot of people and communities impacted by what we do. Being part of a team and an industry that is so community driven is a big deal to me.”

So far Morgan has been a natural fit joining the W. M. Jordan team.

“I really appreciate having the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry,” said Holcomb. “I’ve joined a team that is very collaborative, and we get to see the result of our hard work. It is very rewarding.”

Although Morgan is relatively new to the construction industry, she has already seen the impact women can have in a traditionally male dominated field.

“So far, I have gotten to see some amazing women in leadership roles in construction. I think that means a lot for the future of women in our industry, and I am excited to continue to see the impact we have.”

Morgan has been an amazing addition to the WMJ team and has made a big impact as we have expanded into South Carolina and the Greenville area.  She is another excellent example of the abilities and talent women bring to the construction industry.
