LIDL Transition
W. M. Jordan Real Estate Development purchased 11850 Jefferson Avenue in 2012. The purchase was 13 acres, including a single-story office and manufacturing building leased by a Fortune 500 company. In 2016, 5.64 acres were subdivided and sold to international grocery retailer LIDL.
SCOT Center Relocation
615 Bland Blvd, SCOT Center Relocation, Rooms to go, Newport News, VA
W. M. Jordan Real Estate Development purchased 615 Bland Blvd in September 2007 for $22 million. The purchase was 53.25 acres including a fully leased 360,000 SF manufacturing facility with market rent. The asset was enhanced by subdividing surplus land for additional projects. In 2018, Rooms To Go purchased 3.4 acres and constructed a new location. W. M. Jordan Real Estate Development assisted in the successful rezoning and entitlement for the client. In May 2015, W. M. Jordan Real Estate Development swapped 22.5 acres with the Newport News EDA for the land to relocated the SCOT Center and construction of the new Tech Center Research Park.
